Knife Skills // Thomas Lennon Films, 2017

Knife Skills came to me with a temporary soundtrack, and the producer-director, Thomas Lennon, really wanted to try to license the music they had laid in. However, I was able to replace several cues with production library music with the same feel which brought the budget down, and he had his composer replace most of the rest of the music. I also licensed a few of the original temp cues that could not be replaced.

I’m very proud of this film, not just because it was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Subject. The subject matter is very worthwhile. And it was a pleasure to work on.
